Red Dust Holdings working with the City of Greater Geraldton, Hamper Co and Abrolhos Adventures to provide essentials to vulnerable families during the first stages of the Covid 19 lockdown

RDH committed $10,000 to sponsorship of the WOW Festival fireworks display in the City of Greater Geraldton in late 2019. You know that time we almost had the Hilltop Hoods come to our sleepy town? Well Covid put a stop to that..

So with WOW Fest cancelled we asked the City of Greater Geraldton to re-allocate our sponsorship. The clever team at the City came up with a nifty collaboration where Hamper Co Geraldton packed $10k worth of RDH funded food and necessities into hamper ‘Essentials Packs’ to be delivered by City Staff in the Abrolhos Adventures bus to Community Support groups for distribution. Providing comfort and support to vulnerable community members during through the very uncertain days of the first lockdown early in 2020.
